Should a patient have access to their medical record?
HIPAA says yes and that your access is assured of privacy, this story on National Public Radio offers a different perspective: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=112971637
mobile devices for Healthcare
I just came across Neil Versel’s blog which I will begin to read regularly.
He wrote a week ago about Apple’s push into HealthIT and other readers commented that Drs prefer Blackberry devices.
I have yet to find a hospital that permits, or even has, WiFi in the wards, so I wonder how these devices will be used?
Though I personally would love to see Drs and nurses updated patient charts with mobile devices
